Kirin Ice Plus Beer

Kirin has introduced their new product, Ice Plus Beer, which is beer designed for pouring over ice.

Pouring Ice Plus Beer over ice is supposed to enrich the taste of the beverage. It apparently is a big hit amongst critics in Japan.
What's also interesting about it is the product design; on the can is a pop art illustration on how to enjoy the beer. Watch their advertisement below, very corny...

Build Your Own Yacht

You know what's sickening? To think that there is actually a website called Yacht Island Design, where wealthy people can create their own themed yacht.
Perhaps I'm just a little bit jealous...

Below is the Tropical Island Paradise; includes a volcano and waterfall. SMH..

Unnatural Acts

Hey, mention an event/show/movie that has to deal with homosexuality, suicide, rape, pedophilia, (you get the point), and my attention is in!
Thanks to @nycgo, I will be attending "Unnatural Acts" at the Classic State Company.

A fetid incident hidden for eight decades behind the ivy-covered walls of a hallowed school inspires the smart new play, "Unnatural Acts," now in a bracing production at Classic Stage Company.

In 1920, a Harvard undergrad's suicide sparked a campus-wide search into students' personal lives. It led to the expulsion of several men who confessed to or were linked to homosexual acts. ("Veritas," seen at last year's Fringe Festival, was based on the same events.)

Conceived and directed by Tony Speciale and written by members of the Plastic Theatre, many of whom appear in the show, the play is a fictionalized account informed by trial records, letters and period research. Writerly imagination filled in the gaps.

Technology is starting to make me cringe. Toyota has created a concept, "Window to the World," allowing the passenger to draw on the window of a "smart car."

Asian Girl Swag, REALLY - Zhang Xiaobai

I love chicks with tattoos. Zhang Xiaobai is an illustrator based in China; she's not a name quite familiar yet in the American art world, but I'll be surprised if she doesn't get big.

Xiaobai studied traditional Chinese art since she was a little girl, but now specializes in tattooed female illustrations. She is also a tattoo artist, with many tattoos herself. AND, she just looks so freakin awesome.

I'M BACK

After a LONG hiatus, my creativity tank has been refilled and my juices are drippin. HA!

Wow, I haven't blogged since December 2010.
An artist usually goes through slumps from time to time. Mine was a long one.
I woke up this morning and decided to start on some street projects.
This will be my first one: I made a prettylitlepet stencil and will be hitting the streets of Queens, Willy B and the LES. Watch for it!
